Cassper Nyovest: "South African Hip Hop Awards did not acknowledge my hard work."
Cassper Nyovest, the Drama King, was close to tears during an interview with Vuzu as he complained about how the South African Hip Hop Awards were not acknowledging his hard work.
The Doc Shebeleza hitmaker, who was one of the leading nominees at the awards walked away the biggest loser only winning the Milestone Award.
This did not sit well with him and he let it all out when V Entertainment caught up with him after the awards.
The clearly emotional 24 year-old said he could not understand how even after selling out the TicketPro dome he is still not recognised.
“… I sold out the Dome man, that’s a milestone, that’s a real milestone and people expect me because I’m humble I shouldn’t voice my opinion you know what I mean, like I’m just tired of the bulls*** of this f****ng industry of people acting like we ain’t doing sh**. I work hard man, I work f****ng hard man, I’m doing … I’m f**k,” he said, before walking away from the interview and throwing away his single award.

Yes, he threw away his award. What a humble act from a humble man. Well done Cassper Nyovest.
But one question before we leave: Is Cassper Nyovest saying that he should’ve won all the awards he was nominated for? He reached a milestone by #FillUpTheDome and was awarded for that, what else does he want? Maybe we should throw him a party then.
But let’s not foul him, his actions are typical of a normal 24 year-old man child.
