Freshly Ground lead singer Zolani Mahola has welcomed a healthy baby boy.

The songbird, who took to social media to reveal that 40 weeks into her pregnancy she was ready to pop last week, shared the wonderful news on her Facebook on Monday.

“It's a pretty little boy [sic]. We could not be happier. Love,” Mahola excitedly wrote.

Mahola and her husband are already the proud parents of a two-year-old boy.

The Voice SA mentor Karen Zoid took to social media to congratulate Mahola, revealing in the process that the baby was born on Monday morning.

“Congratulations to my guitarist Henry Steel with the birth of his daughter Olivia this morning. She shares her birthday with Zolani Mahola's son (who is yet to be named) who also joined us in the world this morning. ‪#‎backstagebabies‬,” Zoid jotted down on Facebook.
