Pedestrian hit by 3 cars in NYE ends

Johannesburg - A man walking on the R501 towards Carletonville was knocked over and then driven over by another two motorists on Thursday night, ER24 said on Friday.

When help arrived, paramedics found that he had been so severely injured by the multiple car strikes to his body that he had not survived.

He was declared dead on the scene, said ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing.

Authorities will investigate the cause of the accident.
