Pearl Thusi gets her Job at SABC again
It looks like Pearl Thusi will be back on Metro FM very soon!
The SABC announced on Wednesday that one of its biggest on-air talents will be reinstated!
Pearl was taken off air after she left Live AMP to host MTV Africa's version of the popular US show, Lip Sync Battle,which the public broadcaster viewed as direct competition.
The Sunday World reported a few days ago that our favourite Zulu girl was begging the SABC to take her back, and requested a meeting with her bosses.
Pearl denied that she would stoop so low. She does have several other jobs, so it is not like she is desperate.
But it seems the drama is all water under the bridge now.
“I am happy to be back at the SABC, an organization that has provided me with a great foundation to allow me to progress within the industry,” she is quoted as saying in the statement.
