Are Siphiwe and Bokang secretly married?
They’ve been dating for several years and it’s clear to see that they are head-over-heels in love‚ but did footballer Siphiwe Tshabalala and former Miss SA Bokang Montjane get secretly married?
The couple‚ who last year welcomed their first child together‚ have always been shy to talk about their relationship‚ including whether they are actually married or still just dating.
There has been speculation for some time that the pair might have tied-the-knot sometime in their five-year relationship‚ but perhaps the clearest indication yet occurred recently when Bokang took to Instagram to thank Siphiwe for his support and love‚ calling him her “husband.”
“To the father of my son‚ my partner in life‚ business‚ parenthood and love‚ my husband yes monna Waka ke leboga lerato la gago (my husband thank you for your love)‚ your constant support in all I do and believing in my potential‚ for loving me as flawed and crazy as I am‚” she wrote in a lengthy birthday post.
And in case we didn’t get the message the first time‚ Bokang seemed to emphasis the point‚ by thanking Siphiwe for giving her his surname (as married couples often do).
“Thank you for our beautiful son and thank you for giving me your last name... Mrs Bokang Montjane-Tshabalala‚” she wrote.
It might just be that Bokang is so settled in her relationship with Siphiwe that she would naturally refer to him as her husband. Bokang was not available for comment when contacted‚ so fans might have to wait a little while longer to find out the truth.
